Welcome to The Shark Monitor, your go-to source for everything about Shark Tank! I started following the Shark Tank when I was in diapers, well, not really, but it was a long time ago when Season 1 came out.

The Team

The team is…me :)! I am a PhD research scientist by day, entrepreneur by night. Read more about the team here.

Almost a decade ago I had the opportunity to be a consultant for entrepreneurs preparing their pitches for investors. That was as exciting as if I was looking for investments in my own company. I then became a consultant for biotech and pharma, and ran ecommerce ventures focused on pets.

That is to say that I am fascinated and addicted to the entrepreneurial world.

Over time, I became addicted to the Shark Tank, watching every episode (multiple times), and sometimes doubling with Dragons Den. Here, I learned a lot about business, entrepreneurship and investing, and this site is my way to share this experience with you, in the hope that it will help you as much as it helped me.

How Do We Do It?

I do my due diligence to make sure that all material is useful, friendly, easy to follow and educational. From spending hours running online searches, to digging data out of databases, newspapers, and, at times, archived data. I then spend a good amount of time compiling it all in articles that I hope will help readers get a better grasp of the fascinating world of entrepreneurship through the lens of Shark Tank.

The world of Shark Tank is wonderful to understand, and fun to explore. Whether you’re a fan of the show or new to the world of business, I hope you will find this interesting.
